New Droid X - Launcher pro website?

The contact widgets just randomly changing on their own (resizing, changing the way they function) is driving me nuts. The picture just covers up the name and takes up the whole widget.

I have to resize each one just to get it to go back the way it was. I don't even have to actually resize...I just long press on the widget like I am going to resize it and it fixes itself and my tasks I have set for each widget work again.

I don't get FCs with LPP...well worth the $ IMO.

I DO have this problem also, and it drives me nuts. If you figure out how to correct it, would you share???:)

I had trouble a few times too, until I realized I was entering the letter O rather than the number 0. Are there any numbers/letters in your code that you could be mistaking for something else?
 
People widget doesn't seem to want to show me the contact's photos. Is there a way to refresh it? I've hit the refresh button on the bottom of the widget but no dice.

Remember: LP runs over the top of the default launcher. It doesn't replace it, or uninstall it, or anything. The default launcher is still running in the background. Thus, if you have widgets or whatever, they're going to be running and updating and consuming memory and CPU cycles.

Great advice. Also - home switcher says it won't work with froyo. Users report it does if you are rooted. I'm rooted. Worked perfectly and really made a difference when I cleaned up the default screens.

I had this problem as well. For some reason it seems if it is a Facebook picture then it will not show in the people. However if you go in to the contact and add a picture it will show. I also used SynvMyPix, the other day that works with facebook to grab the profile pictures and it worked and updated the people widget as well.

I just used it yesterday and am NOT rooted so it works just fine even if not rooted on 2.2...

Hmm I didn't know this. Maybe I will give LP another go round, and see what happens.
 
I will be getting my droidx in a few days. My main question is if i update to froyo 2.2 and then add launcher pro on top after clearing the home screen of the blur launcher.. I will then need to download a home launcher switcher app. but will launcher pro still make the droid x run as fast as it would with froyo and will flash still be on. what i understand is launcher pro runs over top of froyo so it should be fast.
 
I have home switcher. Do I use it? Practically never. My blur home is empty so I don't need it, but I have it. I love my LPP. So much I can do with it. :D
 
my main thing is I watched the video on froyo saying most things will be greatly increased in speeds as for games and the operation of the phone it self. so with launcher pro running on top of froyo. Will games still run faster and will battery life be increased
 
I cleared out my Blur home screens and use only LP+. My sister and I both play Angry Birds on my phone with no problem. As for battery life, I usually end the day with plenty of battery left, although I am using the extended battery so I don't know if I'm a good example for that
 
So just to make sure I am reading this right you can not get LPP from the market right? You have to find the link over on the launcher pro forum.

LPP is Launcher Pro Plus. You download Launcher Pro from the market, then you pay for the pro version (well worth the money IMO) then you get emailed a "key" that you put into the LauncherPro preferences page and it "unlocks" the Pro version
