New Email folder

Can I ask why you're doing this? If I know the reason might be able to offer a more efficient solution.

I just need to save some emails on my phone, its mainly so i dont have to deselect the emails I want to keep before bulk deleting

I don't know if this is what you want, but it seems a much better solution to me:

Simply create a new gmail label
Move any you want to save to this label
They will then not be visible in your main inbox stream (may need to archive the emails too)
Then create a new shortcut to a gmail label on your desktop.

And voila, you now have easy access to your "saved" emails on both your phone and your pc (or any other device you can access gmail with)

Thanks lekky, I have done that for the Gmail account now and that seems to work ok however its for the mail app on the desire (the one which comes with the phone) which i really need to do it for as this is the mail that I have used for years and get most of my mail to...the Gmail is family use only. Any advice appreciated.,

How do you save them an text files?
I have made a folder called "saved emails" & put a copy of TxtPad lite in there to receive & save (cut & pasted) important email content so I have a copy even if offline.
This works o.k. but all you really want is "save a copy" as an email option.
