Help New Evo user and need help.

New member here, have had my Evo for a little over a year now. Recently it's been acting very strange. Here's what's happening:

The time always screws up, I understand this is a bug with Google or something, I've been told. I've turned off the automatic time setting and I manually set the time. Ever since this happened, my phone is in this weird mode to where I send a text to my gf, friend, family, ANY AND EVERYONE, my text will show up as "Today, 2:32pm" (for illustrative purposes) but when they reply, it shows up as "Yesterday" but the time will be correct as it is today, and puts their replies above my texts, so I have to scroll up to see what they say... Make sense?

If anyone has any info on this, I'd appreciate it, as I'm ready to toss this phone for the new Evo 3D...

My brothers phone was doing the same thing a few days ago. Its an issue with sprint/google. Are you rooted? Im not having any of these issues though. Im rooted and using a mik based rom/GM 1.1 kernel and using handcent. No problems here.

try updating prl and profile and see if that helps.
