Root New Facebook App = Garbage

After flashing Fresh 3.1, I noticed severe battery drain. The new Facebook update is causing 100% awake time for me. Had to reinstall the old version. Just a heads up to anyone who runs into this...
 
I was just noticing the same thing. Am looking for settings that will help reduce this. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions? Or do I just need to trash this version?

You can try disabling syncing and notifications but I think you will have limited success doing that.
 
There are 2 things you can do... Keep the updated FB app and sign out everytime you leave the app. Or uninstall the update and use the old FB app.

I have also sent an email to the dev and I think everyone with this issue should as well
 
I'm having the same problem--battery drain after flashing fresh 3.1... How do I uninstall facebook? I tried through app brain and it's unsuccessful.. And where do I get the old version? TIA
 
You can use Titanium Backup to uninstall it. As for finding the old version I'm pretty sure you should be able to just search for it. I'm not having battery problems because I always turn off background sync when I don't need it. It really helps. BTW, I'm using the same build of Fresh and I had good battery life yesterday.
