Root new firmware on sensation

I'm a little confused. I'm trying to help a co-worker root her Sensation 4G, but I'm more EVO oriented. I had no idea that you had to flash firmware prior to the ROM. I want to put the Android Inquisition or w/e ROM that is on her phone.

Can someone help me out?

as i just replied in your PM,the firmware is only needed for ICS roms.

post a link for this rom,im not familiar with it. android revolution is an ICS rom that needs different firmware.

the fact that it needs it is not a big deal.youll just need to flash it in hboot by renaming it PG58IMG.

what else do you need help with?

Yeah, I just had never really encountered that with any other device that I owned - so I was skeptical. I knew how to do it, just didn't want to do it without doing my due diligence. Thanks anyway!
