Help New firmware vm670zv5 cannot install

Hey folks, I recently checked the LG software update program and saw that a new firmware exists for the phone. I can't get LG's software to work, has anyone tried updating or have been successful in updating? Thanks , apologies if this has been posted elsewhere as I have not found shiott...
 
I haven't seen where anyone was able to install the update or find anyone at LG who even knows what it is, so I would hold off on trying right now.
 
Rule of thumb: It it works, dont fool with it. (especially firmware/bios)

The update software is borked right now, and LG support doesn't even know who posted the update. There are devs looking into it, it appears to be a baseband update, but there isn't much more info at this time. It is NOT an upgrade to Android (no GB update yet).

You obviously have no concept of what words can do.

If you want to make a statement like that, something along the lines of:

"Remember what happened to the little kid who stuck his tongue to the frozen street lamp?"

That would have been funny and non-offensive, instead you were rude crude and socially unacceptable on a multitude of levels.

Wow, mystery firmware.... Thanks a lot for your insight, I would have never known.
 
Umm I Know How TO Update It... I Downloaded All the drivers and it took me to the "Start Updating" option and i clicked it but i wasnt sure if this Update is even built/Made for the Lg Optimus "V".. SO I Canceled It
Do YOu Know If This Is Legit and Made for the Lg Optimus V
And If I DO Update It what willl change and will it Damage My Phone
Also When I Clicked start updating it Said This:
*New mobile phone software is available
Please update your software.
If not connected, connect the device now to start update.
If the update is done later, connect the device at that time.

Please contact your service provider for software upgrade support for this model***



Oh and FYI to update it and for the thing to recognize your phone you need to put your phone in this different type of debug mode that you can only acces if you know your service code (SPC Code) and i knowHow To obtain it i can send you the link :) Its really easy to do


Someone Please Help and Reply is the Update Made For The Lg Optimus V do you know anyone who has updated theres Pleae Help!!!
