NEW Latest 2.1 Leak and Get More HTC Widgets

I can't be the only one that this doesnt work for right? I updated earlier today and it was posted many times that the get more htc widgets feature was fixed...Is their a setting I need to configure for this to work, or am I just s.o.l?! :confused:
 
Same as mine..the only difference I notice is that before this update it only tried loading for a second or two and then gave the unable message and now it tries to load for almost a minute and then the unable to download widgets message appears...any other thoughts??
 
I'm still on the first 2.1 leak and it's doing exactly what you describe. Tries for over thirty seconds before failing.
 
Honestly I don't think it has anything to do with the OS overall, it's just HTC hasn't officially released the update, so they don't have that option available for the Eris because we're not supposed to be running 2.1 right now.
 
My guess is that either a.) that app store doesn't even exist yet. or b.) the code to access it will become available when an official 2.1 ROM is released for the Eris.

Considering you're running 1.5, I don't expect you to find it.

Only Eris's running 2.1 have the option (well not really an option, just a button that excites you until it cock blocks you by saying it can't connect)
 
Not sure if this has been reported elsewhere, but Get more HTC widgets is now working for me. It didn't work when I first loaded the new 2.1 leak yesterday, but I checked again this morning it now works. There are only 6 widgets to download.

The Notes widget isnt bad other than that Ill pass. I was hoping for maybe some of the Desire widgets : )
 
I installed the Ringtone Widget and cant find it anywhere in the list of widgets available or anywhere in all my programs...

Any thoughts?:D

This would have been great if it had stuff that you couldn't already get on the market. I do like the notes widget it may replace my current notes app. The only perc I see to this is for those who don't want to take a few seconds to look in the market for one of these apps.
