Root New member

[FredT]

Hello, I found this forum while searching for a root for my Droid1, 2.2.2, FRG83G.

I have tried Z4, system update, and several other rooting methods that I have discovered.

Nothing works. My phone will not root.

I get to the "permanant root" option in Z4, it does it's stuff for a few seconds, and then screen reverts back to home screen.

Would be nice if someone could help me here.

Thanks, FredT

You might try another method. I used Soup or Root and it was easy as pie.
