Until available, disable pattern lock to ensure emergency calls can be placed. To check your software version press Applications > Settings > About phone and view Build number. Only version SCH-i500.DL09 is impacted by this issue. Versions SCH-i500.DI01 and SCH-i500.DH12 are functioning properly. To disable pattern lock press Applications > Settings > Location & Security and remove check from Require Pattern.

My phone's sync just started having problems. I had to do a factory reset to get my gmail to work, and now my facebook contacts wont sync....

Hopefully this is fixed too!

Yeah I read this yesterday on the forum. I was wondering why I haven't received the dl09 upgrade yet ... Samsung stopped pushing it out because of the E911 error.

I received that text a few hours ago, too.

My Fascinate is rooted (for now), so we'll see if rooted ones get the update.

I missed a day of work because of this. Because i'm low person on my seniority ladder I have to call/txt every morning to see if i'm working. I texted yesterday morning like I always do and didn't hear back so I was under the assumption I wasn't working. About 1pm I went to check my e-mail and I got a "network error" so I was trying to refresh it but it wouldn't connect so I restarted my phone. When it booted up I had over 10 new txt and 3 voice mails. Needless to say I was not happy. Not sure what the problem was but I never got the txt from Verizon until I restarted my phone.

I have no issues with the usb mounting, but then I never did with the dl09 update either.

That is super awesome for you! But MANY of us SF users are having this issue. Anyone know if the new update will fix this?
