I got the same message, but can't open the link for some reason....? It just gives a error saying somethings wrong with my connection. Anyone else able to open it?

Ok I'm rooted but un installed mymetro but get the same when I click the link. Mobile care does nothing as well. Maybe metro only has certain times they push/download the update.

I think it works like Go SMS. where it can intercept and process a message. Except they didn't care if they left the sms message there or not. Tango does the same except it cleans up after itself.

Anyways Brew is their own app software tech, well not metro but pretty common.

Ive gotten them on every Android Metro phone Ive had off and on. When I googled it all I could find on it was its for NON-android phones (hence the BREW tag) and its some kind of update or just an informational download from the phone. I havent had the time to go to a corporate metro store and figure out whats going on. Im also getting double texts at random times it seems. If I ever get around to going Ill let you guys know whats up.

No, BREW is the Java based operating system for mobile phones besides android or IOS. They probably are adds (like the myoffers your talking about, I used to get them on my old LG slider phone), but the messages themselves are for BREW based phones, which is why they are gibberish for our phones.
