Help New PNY SDHC card not writeable

Just bought a 32 gig PNY SDHC card. My phone recognizes it, formatted, and viewable in file manager, but I can not create anything on it. When I connect to a PC, neither the USB or SDcard drives are viewable. No errors being received.

Do you have an sd card reader you can pop it in? is the behavior the same?

I have had no issues with my PNY but have issues with MANY sd cards over the years. It could be defective.

You might also try formatting in Windows via a reader, and then put it in the phone and formatting via the phone again.

I assume other cards work fine in the phone?

Thanks Mr. Ed. I inserted into my laptop, hear the recognition from Windows, but not showing up in explorer or when I rescan disks. Is there a special way to read sd?

It should recognize it like any disk drive would previously. If you go to My Computer and try to open the drive that way, it may say something like "no disk inserted" or such. If thats the case, it sounds like the SD card is bad to start with...
