Thanks "dood!" Unfortunately, I just tried your link to the update file for SR 3.1 sense. I'm using SR 3.2 Sense and it's causing my phone to bootloop. (fortunately I backed up) I tried again, just to be sure. Still causing a bootloop. I don't have 3.1 anymore. I wonder if it is just something simple like needing busybox or something. I'm not sure if SR comes with busybox. Is there a way to tell if I have busybox? Or could it be my King's #5 kernal? :(

You can get busybox free off the market.

I just got busybox installed. Once again I applied the update and I got thrown into a bootloop. The only thing I can think of now that may be causing the problem is the BFS #5 kernal. Has anyone got this to work on SkyRaider 3.2 RC3 with Kings #5 kernal?

I get a boot loop too. Do you have his rotary lock screen mod? That's the only thing I can think of making it boot loop. He said don't try to mod the framework file because It will make a boot look and the power button mod does edit the file.

sorry guys I need your help again. Which one do i chose?

i have a stock Sense rom (Rooted & Deodexed).

I can't figure if it's "HD" or "Regular" i should try.

thanks

most of the people in this thread, if you read the posts, posted that the HD gave them boot loops.

just make sure you do a backup of your current rom before running this, as it could cause a boot loop and then you have to do a wipe and restore.

Thanks, I read it 5 times (i only ask questions if i can't see a definite answer). I will start with the "regular" first. Thanks again

I still can't see where you saw people using HD? but thats why you guys are the pro's and I'm not.

Edit: Worked for me!!!! i used the link that ACD168 posted. Just a note, it was stuck on the red eye for a while. I was almost ready to pull the batt. So anyone doing this, give it plenty of time.

How long would you say to wait on the red eye before pulling the battery?

My thoughts on this now, after several attempts at this 3-in-1 reboot menu...is to wait until there is a 4-in-1 reboot menu (w/hot reboot) that also includes the Hibernate feature (like the HD version). This is what I really wanted originally.

I have waited 15 min once after installing some new stuff. Just be patient and do something else till it loads.

Boot loops are something else though...

It was a good solid 5 minutes. But like the above said, I have had times that I have waited almost 15 for some installs. I think as long as you don't get boot loops right from the start, you will be good.
