Root [new prl] 3026

03026 prl increased my speed so much more. I knew this was gonna come in a matter of days. Since my 3G flickered with 1x as well. But thanks for the prl :D

alright wth, that link 03026.prl sends me to a mediafire page with a download request, just like it should, but i download the 54mb file and its a txt file not a prl file, wtf is going on. im gunna try on pc tomorrow but my om pulled 3024.prl and 3025.prl of the same mediafire hosting service. lol where have i gone wrong. and thanks for the build prop edits but the new bobz build already has em in place. thanks for help.

Rename the .txt to .prl lol. Then se qpst or lgnpst to upgrade it.
What is 54mb? If your talking bout the rom then it's like 55mb. The prl is around 5 KB lol
 
still no 3g symbol but faster data speeds lol...weird. Oh and one more bar over all :) im happy.
 
I just realized that I already had this one. Checked my wife's OpM and she has it as well. We must've gotten an ota update for this prl. I've been noticing lately that my Web browsing seems to be a lot speedier.

Does any one know how accurate the website my3gspeed is? I've used it a few times lately and it tells me that I'm getting download speeds of 400 to 800 kbps range. The speedtest.net app still only shows me getting speeds of less than 180 kbps.

My 3G speed is more accurate in my opinion. Speedtest gave me the weirdest test results. How did I go from .15 to 1.4mbs? While I tested my3g. I noticed I was getting a certain range. From around 1.4 to 1.6 which in all seems pretty reasonable and accurate to me.

Lol, rename it huh, thanks. And its a 5.something kb file your right, i was exhausted, and that file was the last frustrating thing of the day. thanks.
 
I saw a thread in the SGI forum about this PRL causing issues. Given thats an LTE phone, i assume we wont have the same issues.

I am in South Florida Ft. Lauderdale area and i get the 3g icon but when i use data it goes back to 1x and still slow.


Also when i installed the new PRL my Wifi Stoped Working. just goes through a cycle of obtaining ip and disconnecting.
 
Still getting 1x in Glassboro, NJ. Guess I'm just not close enough to Philly if Philly even gets the 3G.
 
I get 3g in northern California. Speeds are much faster. I tested it with YouTube doesn't take forever to load the video.. just freezes here and their..

Yeah Andy, I hear you. I guess my M is never getting 3G because every prl out there doesn't work for me.

Probably won't matter too much longer for me. As soon as the price drops some on the Esteem, I'm probably going to grab it.
 
Okay. This is going to sound like a dumb question but what do I do with that file 3016.prl file? How do I use ot to get 3026 prl?
 
I got this update OTA! I've been waiting for that to happen since I've others report such activity. I was just about to do it manually and checked, yup, I had 3026. I've had 3G pretty much all the time since. About 45 miles outside of atlanta.
