That message is a blatant fob off. If they still needed to test and approve, then why have they released it to O2 etc to brand and push out?
At face value, it appears that the author of that message doesn't know what is going on in his own company, is pants at customer comms in not explaining this obvious discrepency, or (and hope this isn't the case) just sticking out anything official sounding in a hope to reduce the wahiling and gnashing of teeth.
I may of course have missed something and if I have someone please point it out. I just can't see how or why Samsung would release untested, unapproved base software to network partners risking a very angry customer base and potential litigation. Are there any alternative possibilities?
