new to connect

Hi every one I'm coming from the admire to the connect. I already have it rooted and touch cwm it came with zv8. Quick question it won't tether or download torrents and some free apps won't download. Is this a metro thing how do i fix it? Looking forward to working with every one.

For tethering you'll need a ua switcher to mimic androids because metro blocks tethering. Jist google whatever browser you're using ua switcher. Not sure about the free apps, could be a problem with google play. I've never had any problems with dl apps. If you're trying to dl torrents using your computer then you won't be able to for same reason as question one. If you're using a torrent app for your phone its either the app just don't work with this device or something in the settings.

When I had the Samsung Indulge I could dl torrents only on 1x not 4g. I never did figure it out. Phone torrent app.

I suspect that you're referring to torrents to circumvent paying for copyrighted content.

Androidforums.com can't have any part of that and besides, it just depresses the family dog.
