Yes.Is it still Android 4.4.2?
Were you rooted? Did you have a custom recovery installed?I updated... could care less for root (if there is no root vulnerability, it means malware/viruses can't damage my phone). I just want more stability, less apps closing for shiats and giggles.
It probably just hasn't been pushed to your phone yet. Updates don't usually hit everyone all at once. First, that would be a huge hit on their servers. Second, if there was an issue, they would have a much bigger mess on their hands. I never got the zv4 update before I did the rooted update. Not seeing this update on my Sprint Prepaid phone. Do I need to do something to see the update? Still seeing v4.
I received the update this morning on my Sprint prepaid Volt, the file size was around 213MB phone is still on 4.4.2.
Correct, you won't get updates on an unactivated device.Just curious does the phone have to be activated or at least connected to Sprint network to receive the OTA update? Mine is using wifi only with no Sprint signal, it says ZV4 is already the latest and all other updates failed to authenticate.
That's a nice theory. What was changed in the update you got on your tablet?
Just took a HUGE update from LG, took about 10 minutes and now my phone is at Software Version LS740ZV5.
