Root New update??

i got this same crap yesterday i clicked on it and just brought up a web page with an image that i couldn't make out
 
I didn't even open it, I deleted the txt,
probably somethign to either spy on us with tethering or to drop our 4g more. I don't trust this company anymore, seems like some shadey stuff going on lately.
 
I wonder if its only people with 4G devices because I checked my moms Admire, and she never received it.
 
I got it but deleted it. They think im gonna open some shit like that and let someone put a tracker on my phone. Negative.
 
Here's the thing..I DID click. And now for whatever reason netflix via tether is no longer working :/ hulu is good to go still tho. So I have no clue what I may have done.
 
I got it today. same thing, error message. now tether to the netbook has dropped to a crawl of 200ish kbps
 
I've also noticed the phone switching between 4G and 3G all day today and 4G right now has been slower than usual. I'm hoping this is them working on their towers or something.
 
Good thing i didn't click it i don't want to lost my tethering bad enough i have to use user agents to tether so i can use my laptop now basically tricking them that I'm using my esteem phone with the esteem user agent lol now they are pulling crap like that sheesh
