Root Newbie: Help with root problem.

ok here's the deal on 8-8-10, i rooted my droid1 to this frg01b throw a link on this web site(45mb)down load.now i can't down load anything new, like frg22 .it say i still have root but I can't get clockworkmon,rom manager,sprecovery can someone help

How did you root? Did you use Easy Root? Do you have the Superuser Permissions app? Have you tried downloading a Terminal app and typing in "su" to see if you are indeed rooted?
It also sounds like you just tried forcing the Froyo OTA update, but that has nothing to do with root.....we just need a little more info.
