Root newbie needs help

I need to flasj my evo 4g to cricket.
I was just wondering if theres anybody who can give me a link and or some tips to flashing this phone over to my cricket service.
I know that these questions are a dime a milluion.
so if anyone wants tio heklp me please dont hesitate.

moved you to the rooting section as you need to be rooted to do this. but here is a guide i found:Full Flash HTC Evo to Cricket: 2.2 Froyo Talk, Text, MMS, Internet. not sure about it. i have never done it. hope that helps.

Also, there was a user on here who had flashed their phone over to ... I wanna say Metro? That thread might be worth a look too.

(Obviously the Cricket one is more applicable to you, but the metro one might have some good info too (same sort of issue))
