So i've searched around and read a lot of the threads on it but didn't know which place to post on to get help. this is why i just made a new thread to ask. hope it doesn't piss anyone off.
Ok so I need some serious help because I'm just a beginner be easy on me. I have an Ally and did all the automatic upgrades as they came. I wanted to root my phone so i downloaded the froyo2.2.1.zip and started the steps. I must have done something wrong because it didnt work but it took me back to 2.1 and rooted the phone butand i got velocity 0.3 to work flawlessly other than the automatic uptade box to keep appearing. what do i have to do exactly to make my phone so it can flash velocity 1.0? ive tried using the auto update but it fails. the problem is that i only have access to a computer with windows vista (lame i know) any help would be great especially some beginner step by step methods.
