I'd like to say ":ciao:" to everyone. As the title suggests I am a newbie. By that I mean I have never had a tablet before and have absolutely no experience with them.
I bought an Archos 70b tablet and can't wait to get playing with it. Right now it is plugged into my computer - charging.
Hope to make some new friends here.

Was reading some to the supposed intros here and found lots of them asking questions about how to use their devices. I thought this thread was for intros only?
Vocabulary - I have found that the best way to learn a new subject is through its vocabulary. Any suggestions on what words would help me best get started on my Archos 70b tablet?

Re. the posting of questions in the Intro area, you are right, but lots of new folks don't quite know where to start, so we try to help 'em out as best we can (we're just nice like that :)).

About how best to get started? Well, joining our forum, reading, searching, and asking questions is a great way to get going and become more knowledgeable. I suppose the best words would depend on what kind of stuff you want to know about or do with your tablet. For example, "gaming", "rooting", "web browsing", "email", "widgets", etc. might be good places to start.
