Root Next Steps

Yeah, I followed those steps exactly, and I still get the red motorola logo. Maybe I need to re-download everything? I'm SBF'd back to .340. Just in a holding pattern now until my battery gets some juice back.

Re-download the Rooted GB file and try that again...

I'll keep our conversation going here so I don't have stuff going on in two threads.

Here's the files I'm using:

SBF: VRZ_MB810_2.3.34_1FF_01
GB: dxgbrooted.zip (179,994 KB)
RSD Lite 4.8 (I think)

Not sure what else to try at this point.

I'm using RSD 4.9 and windows 7 enterprise x64. Not sure if 4.9 makes a difference I read that 4.8 works somewhere I thought.

Looks like you have everything needed.... Shoot Steven58 a pm and ask him what you should do or if you missed anything... I did mine yesterday and then flashed back till root was established and will flash GB back tonight when I get home from work. You have done everything I would have done...

Anyone else want to chime in and try to figure out what is wrong here????

Check your MD5's on your files or just redownload them. You seem to be doing everything right.

Also reboot your PC.

I had an issue today that SBF would fail. Once I rebooted it was fine to flash.
