Root NexTheme Issues...

Hi all,

posted this regarding the NexTheme over on the Cyanogen forums, but not getting any responses. Thought I would see if you might be able to help.

I love the look of this theme, but it will NOT work for me. I am rooted and have the latest CyanogenMod, downloaded through Rom Manager. I am able to flash to the rom itself. However, when I put the .zip file for the theme on my SD card and use RM to try and flash it, nothing happens. The phone reboots and everything is exactly as it was before. No changes to anything. I've updated twitter and google maps. What am I missing??

- current CyanogenMod installed
- twitter and google maps updated
- put .zip for theme on my SD card, in the /clockworkmod folder
- uninstalled my previous version of LauncherPro
- put the themed LauncherPro in the /clockworkmod folder
- chose "install ROM from SD Card"
- since all I was trying to do was install the theme, I did NOT select back up or wipe.
- the phone rebooted

And nothing had changed. I tried this several times, no luck. Not sure what I'm missing...

Go to rom manager and press reboot into recovery.

It will most likely take a while but just reboot and not go into recovery. If thats the case you just need to flash SPRecovery or an alternate Clockworkmod Recovery (Both options are at the bottom of rom manager.) Then just flash back to the current rom manager

Thanks for the reply! I'm following you right up to the last sentence. Flash back to the current rom manager? Do you mean after flashing the alternate recovery that I should flash the ClockworkMod Recovery again (option at top of RM)?
