Wow, its been a wild ride guys... Thanks for everyone's help and it's been a fun two months. Now that I ordered my first Android, methinks I'll be here for a looong time thanks to all you nice folk ;)

Yeah, i'm not so easy goin with my phones. I drop them. A lot! I have always been clumsy. I am more apt to spill than my kids, and even though i give them open cups, i still use one with a lid, like a travel mug for everything. haha. so my phone needs protection!

Hmm, maybe supply will still be an issue. Not even 1 hour yet.

iPhone's sale out faster then that. It's not a supply issue. You have a huge number of people wanting this. It happens all the time with all phones that do well. If it doesn't sale out, then it's not doing well. It's the importance of not replenishing in time.

Were we supposed to get an option to preconfigure the phone with our google account or does it just use the one you bought it with?

The being build for older devices was rumored a lot, but I dont see it becoming reality on old devices.

The chip maker for the gnex is no longer in the mobile business, so I'm not too surprised it isnt getting the update. Its also 2 years old, googles normal EOL for previous nexii right?

The difference in status is a bit odd.

We're glad you liked it. We like to keep a friendly, social as well as helpful environment here. :)

In Canada they're completely out.

Where can I see when it leaves warehouse? How do I see that? :)

What a thread. It's too bad Galaxy Nexus owners won't get KitKat(my mom almost bought a GNex this week, but chose an iPhone 4 instead).

Hopefully it doesn't take WEEKS for the Nexus 4 to get it. We should be the first device updating to it, and it should start ASAP.
