Nexus 7 LTE?

Has anyone heard of a release date for the nexus 7 with 4g?

Looking to upgrade my Nexus 7 and would like the data option, especially with the Slimport function

I'm going to take the hit for you guys. I am going to order the non-lte version.

Minute I do the LTE version will be released. You're welcome.

I can't imagine it will be too much longer. Some retailers in Europe are already selling it, though it isn't available on Google Play yet there.

I hope it is soon, I also would like a new phone too and I need one of them to work with my App Radio 2

It should, but it doesn't come with a Verizon SIM card. I can only imagine the fun of getting one from them though.

Yeah thinking the same thing.. Order this one and I have a Sim from an iPad 4 that will work and is still active

I have a 4g Sim in my old Xoom but I think its different size. Worst case I'll get one from them.
The problem is, I foresee difficulty in this. This device has no CDMA radios, and as such is the first open/unlocked device to test those Block C regulations. I anxiously await testimony on how this goes.

Difficulty in getting a new card? As in his case? I think the card in my iPad is the same size in rh nexus 7 and when I talked to a CSR they said it should not be an issue other then losing data when not in an area with 4g coverage

I have an Ipad with unlimited data on ATT. Same sim card. Placed an ordered for the LTE today. See if it works. I am very excited and will be using my Ipad on WiFi only...

Sorry for the lack of understanding here. I just got off the phone with a Verizon CSR, and they say that in order for it to work on Verizon Wireless, they would need to sell it. can anyone explain reality and how this will/should work?

Yep, that's the resistance I was expecting. This is an lte only device with no cdma radio that runs on the block c lte (band 13). According to the regulations Verizon agreed to when they purchased the spectrum, they have to let any device that is compatible with that frequency onto their network. In the past because devices have had a cdma radio in it, those regulations haven't been enforced because the can deny cdma access.

However, since this is the first device of its type, Verizon employees haven't encountered this situation and will likely be clueless on how to handle it.
