Nexus 7 Watering Hole

Yea, ordered while the guy was still talking - and no updates yet. It sucks - they need put their search guys on the supply/order algorithm. You would think they know how FIFO works!!
 
Actually, I'm betting that Staples and Gamestop got their orders in first. But that doesn't change the impression of how they treat their direct customers: (
 
Haha, I saw over in the shipping thread people complaining about how badly Google was botching the launch... I just smiled and shook my head... They have NO idea. Congrats on orders shipping everyone! Maybe someday I can join you all with an N7...

UPS tracking number received about 7:00 PM Central time today. Tracking doesn't yield results yet though as it was just entered apparently. I anticipate Monday delivery.
 
Finally received the email: "Great news! Your order on Google Play has shipped."

Not likely to arrive before Monday/Tuesday though, as UPS does not have the number in the system yet. So, I won't see it before Friday as I am out till then. Was hoping to see it this weekend.
 
Got my shipping confirm from the Play Store this morning!!!
Should be waiting at work for me when I get back on Wednesday! :D

I got charged yesterday and received the confirmation email at 2am as well.
I got a knock at the door today from UPS. I got really excited. Here's the N7! (That's what I thought)
It was a gift I ordered for my son last week :( Buzzkill (Good for my son though)

Hoping for Monday. Probably will get it Tuesday. We'll see. It's on it's way though :)
 
Received my shipping confirmation at 2am also.

I've seen lots of others still waiting. Doesn't seem like the smoothest operation ever and a lot of unhappy people.
 
Hey, guys (& gals), I just got back to the US and plan to pick up a Nexus 7 soon. Where can I pick one up at a retailer? I'm aware of Staples and possibly Sam's Club.

It seems it will be hit or miss as the is a bit of a shortage ATM. I still haven't received my preorder. I think you will have to call around Best Buy, Staples, GameStop, Sam's, etc. If you have a US address you can use and are only looking for an 8GB you can get it in 3-5 days through the Play store. Oh, and welcome back stateside Cafe.

Galaxy Nexus running JB3.6 right now - still thinking about purchasing an N7. Hopefully my wallet doesn't hate me.

GAMESTOP
The girl at Gamestop has never seen a Nexus 7. The store hasn't received their first shipment and is no longer accepting pre-orders.

STAPLES
Got 6 in on Monday (all 16GB) and all were gone on Tuesday.

SAM'S CLUB
Ordered 5 on the 18th (all 16GB) and they haven't come in yet.
