Nexus 7 Watering Hole

If there's something else in there you want to see let me know. I'm not really the WW's type. ;)
That works for now, but its exactly what I thought it would look like.

Nothing horrible, but just way too stretched out. V3.0 (or 3.1) of the app will include a tablet specific layout - just gotta figure out how to force the app to detect it based on screen size or resolution.

Thanks!

Doubt it makes much of a difference, but that's SwiftKey btw. I believe the stock keyboard is a touch smaller?
Trust me, it looks a LOT better than many other apps for tablets. Even one like Netflix, when I first installed it last year on my Nook Color was horribly outstretched that I could barely type in my login info.

I agree with Dread, I've seen paid apps that are horribly stretched.
Probably because I am using all native Android elements that have 9-patch images. Makes it much easier for the UI to stretch itself as needed.

Definitely want to try and get this tablet interface working though - probably will show up in version 3.1 though as 3.0 is mainly for the redesign, transition to fragments and database of points.

So what's up otherwise, folks?

I'm just kicking back a little, enjoying a cold cold glass of lemonade and watching some storms roll towards my area of the country.

I'm loving my Nexus 7 more that any tablet I've ever had. It's darn cool.

My son just got a cool birthday gift from another member here on AF. This place rocks.:thrasher:

Haven't messed with my N7 much tonight. Just enjoying a little drinky drink and some Netflix (No Reservations). Waiting for the wife to get home from work.

Nice!
Glad to see your N7 arrived too! Hope it's rocking as well! :D

My wife is working tonight, but I had a big ol' glass of wine with her last night!
(Looking forward to some more tomorrow night as well!) (New wine drinker, but enthusiastic! :) )

A friend of mine's daughter trashed her D2. We arranged a swap where he would get my retired D2 in exchange for a gift pack for my son's birthday (he was using it as a WiFi only gaming device).

Yeah, my wife is working tonight as well, so I have had a few pops.

I grew up outside of New Bedford (or New Bej if you like). Never got much of an accent but I still have a love/hate relationship with those who do. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck were able to pull it off well.

I am actually located in the town that straddles the CT/RI border, so I am in the Midwest according to your map. But in MA, est of the 495 belt dosn't count. That is an accurate map.

Yep, same as NY. You're outside of the NYC suburb? You don't really live in NY.

That area does not sound very fun though. I definitely love western MA by Great Burlington. Really never spent that much time in Boston but seems like a fun city. Always loved my times on the Cape in the summer though.
