Nexus 7 Watering Hole

My N7 is my 3rd 7" tablet, so don't worry about being excessive. ;)
Looks like it's going to storm here any second now. Wife is at a wedding for work and was really concerned about rain. Hoping it stays dry for her.

Edit: and you think the Gnex Watering Hole got to its post count with ON TOPIC talk?!

Wifey is working this weekend, so it's my time to howl.
How do I do this? -by tinkering with Android stuff!

Super, my Bionic battery died...again.

FUN!

Sorry to hear about that battery stridermt2k. :(
How old was it? Wife's Bionic is doing fine. I loaded it up on one of the latest ICS leaks. SO much better than GB.

I think it's only about a year old.

I guess the first thing to do is find an app that tracks battery usage to see if it is an app doing it to me.

I don't see it drop during the day because I have it docked at my bench at work.

I'm VERY tempted to jump at one of the leaks, but I'm going to hang for a little bit and see if it comes down line line on its own first.

I figured it out.

I am in a 3G zone here that sees occasional flickers of 4G. It has to be the radio switching it's little heart out! Poor thing.

I do look forward to when 4G is banging here at home, but it hasn't yet. :(

At least it isn't the battery... yay!

OK, my OGevo and crappy gTablet are sold and gone. The listing for my Nook Tablet is written and waiting to publish to ebay. All I need is a 16GB N7!!! Come on Google, my money is ready......please take it?

Question, if someone is used to a 9.7-10.1" display, will the N7 seem too small?

Also, is the N7 much smoother than the Transformer pad?

Well, it's all about context. If you're watching tv on a 42" screen and then look back at the same content on your tablet or PC, yeah it'll seem smaller. Nice thing is that, at least for me, I can get accustomed very quickly to a smaller size and not feel like it's TOO small.

As far as smoothness, I find both my TF Prime and N7 to be quite smooth, but honestly (and a lot of it could be JB vs ICS), I think the N7 just feels smoother.

And I posted in that thread. :o

Anyone running an AOKP nightly? Just loaded up the newest one. So glad the Nav bar can be modd'd. I really miss that search key. Now just need to flash a JB ROM on my Gnex to do the same!
