Hey guys,
Yesterday at night (around 11pm) I received the message saying that there was a two-part update for my unrooted/stock N1 (2.2.1). It said i needed to plug-in in order to apply the update, which I did.
The phone showed off a count down, then it restarted and then... nothing, it rebooted in normal mode right away. I checked in "About Phone" --> "System Updates" and it's all blank, nothing special there.
It looks like i'm still stuck on FRG83.
Any idea on what could've happened? Is there a log of the system updates results?
Thanks guys!

It shows it's updating for 10 seconds and then the notification dissapear. When I try to find it again in my Download section, the app identification has gone back to 'normal' (i.e. it doesn't show that it's installed) and I have to install the app again...well I already have the app on my phone....not sure what this glitch is. Can't seem to install apps as well
Same issue as updating apps *sigh* is anyone having this issue too?
Reply here if you have the same problem! - Android Market Help <--I think I have a market issue
I am having no issues.. in fact i just updated the directv and lookout apps. Didnt you say you never received the second part..? if not it may be time for a manual update
Nexus one owners after the update?I see people tweeting about market issues so i think your not alone
Nexus one owners after the update?
Sorry, I'm not sure; I used a link to installer from an old invite email so it's possible..
It's 10.4MB and is version 2.10.52.13753t100.
I was half asleep at the time
Edit:Have just checked and the above is the latest version Swype BETA for Android UPDATE - November 2010
You have to make sure you wait after the installation; once the installer finishes doing it's thing click "OK" then you have to wait a few seconds while it registers otherwise you will get that message.
I had the same issues because as soon as it finished id back out immediately; but you can't do that.
Weird...
I still haven't received my second update. (It's been over 24hrs since 1st update)
For those of you who previously posted stating the same issue... have you received the second update yet??

Hold trackball, power on phone. How do you find out what hboot version you're running?
Yeah that's was what I thought, there was a market issue end of last month (oct 28) but Google said they fixed it. This seemed to be a new issue with the market: Late-night Market woes? You're not alone | Android CentralRe; Market issues, I had something similar a few weeks back, and fixed it by clearing data for the Market.
received it this morning. It completely messed up the phone
Became very buggy, slow, major SMS problems. Had to do a factory-reset. Working fine now, we'll see how long it lasts. Very sad about this![]()
There will be a wait for 2.3 when released for sure.
If you don't mind wiping your phone, it's very easy to switch out the VF ROM for the Google one.
I am from the UK and am eagerly awaiting an OTA update. With Froyo, Vodafone took ages to look through the code, does anyone know if this will be done again with Gingerbread?

I received the OTA (UK non branded N1) just the other day so it looks like the Vodafone branded phones are slower to receive these updates.
