NFL 2024

Pats are doing what they should. Get the #1 pick, trade it away for a late 1st and a few future 1st's and a 2nd. Then trade the late first for another future 1st and a 2nd. Then use all those second rounders on o-linemen. The only way to describe the play of our offensive line this year is well,"offensive."

What about my Lions???

Here today... gone tomorrow. A 2-7 start won't win the guy any brownie points. I doubt a change in leadership will make a huge difference but you have to start somewhere. It's not like you can suddenly fill your roster with new talent. The blame goes on the coaching staff and with a change you hope a new direction. I know nothing about the canned coach and have not watched a Saints game this year. Someone has to lose for someone to win. I always feel sorry for the fired coach.

Mike Vrabel is out there and so is Bill Belichick. If you can get the first cracks at those guys it's worth a shot. Both guys will want total control of the roster too.

A wise man once said...."If they want you to cook the dinner, at least they ought to let you shop for some of the groceries.”

My Chiefs managed a win in OT against the Buccaneers at home. It was a tough game that the Bucks played well. I was nervous the entire game. Baker Mayfield is going to beat KC one of these days.. and I thought it was today.
If they had gone for and made a two point conversion at the end of regulation, they would have won. Instead they went for one and took the game into OT.

What a game between the Steelers and Commanders. Wow!!
I didn't get to see it. I understand it was on CBS but in my area they showed the Chiefs game. My son, a HUGE Steelers fan, pretty much thought they were fortunate to win. I watched the Chiefs that were definitely lucky to win. The Denver D went through the Chiefs O line like a hot knife through butter. I don't know how many times Mahomes was sacked. He was pressured every play and had no time for his receivers to get down field. On the other hand, the Chiefs D didn't seem to have an answer to slow down Denver. I didn't give the Chiefs any chance of winning but somehow they did just enough and then got lucky.

That was a pretty entertaining game tonight between the Lions and the Texans. It looked like the Texans were going to walk off with the W the way the game went in the first half. However, the Lions fought their way back into the game in the second half by putting together some offense and stiffening their D. They tied the game with less than five minutes to play, and the Texans answer drive ended with a failed field goal attempt. The Lions drove the field and made a game winning field goal at the end of regulation.
