Well that was certainly a surprise. I didn't fill out a post season bracket but I certainly had the Lions winning this one. 45-31 Commanders.

My Lions season is over.
I'm not surprised.
Dan Campbell should be commended for turning that team around!
But I highly doubt they'll ever have a better record than 15-2 again.
Now I'm rooting for the LA Rams!

The Lions had a great season! They had a great season while playing good football.
its hard to watch games that are in the snow......it makes me sooooo cold. of course i am a Californian, so what do i know about cold....LOL

I just smoked out some meat on the smoker with the temp in the teens and the windchill in the single digits. I'm going on 73 years of cold of the winters of the midwest.I would tell you that it is something you get accustomed to but I'm not a liar. Cold is cold.
The early game between the Rams and the Eagles was a fun game to watch. The Eagles won 28-22 and will host the Commanders next week in the NFC Championship game. Tonight's game has been fun to watch as well. The Bills lead the Ravens 24-19 about mid way through the fourth quarter. The Ravens just fumbled the ball away which definitely lessens their chances of traveling to KC. The winner of this game will play the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.
And the Ravens failed to tie the game with a 2pt conversion. Pretty exciting finish. The Buffalo Bills top the Ravens 27-25 and will travel to Arrowhead to play the KC Chiefs next weekend for the AFC Championship title.
Keep in mind that I'm a huge Chiefs fan and have rooted for them for over fifty years. But, I definitely see the humor of the above posts.
Today's games will decide who represents their conference in the Superbowl the 9th of February. The Commanders will play at the Eagles for the NFC championship game at 3 pm Eastern. The Eagles are favored by six. The Chiefs will host the Bills for the AFC title at 6:30 Eastern. The Chiefs are favored by two. Who do you see playing in February? I'm guessing the Eagles and the Bills. I'd like to think I'm wrong, being a huge Chiefs fan.
The Eagles certainly upheld their end of my prediction! WoW!!
That was a hard fought game between the Bills and the Chiefs. My hat is off the the Bills who played a great game and converted numerous 4th downs and almost converted what would have likely been a game winning conversion late in the game. I am thrilled that we get to represent the AFC and hope we do a good job in the Super Bowl.
I thought the officiating was vastly improved last night. I saw a number of no-calls for face mask and late hits out of bounds and the like that the Chiefs are notorious to get at an advantage. I saw calls that could have gone against the Chiefs as well. I've never been a huge fan of the refs calling football games. Judgement calls are impossible to justify against one's opponent. Calls often change the course of the games or at least effect the flow of the game. It's the nature of the beast.
