NFL Mobile

I have a original verizon galaxy tab and the app won't work on it. Get the error message that I need a valid verizon account or something. My tab is deactivatef and only used with wifi now. Is there a way to get the nfl mobile app to work on it?

The only way is to pay Verizon the extra charge.

I have verizon cell service and the app works just fine without paying for it on my galaxy s3. I could not even download it on the google play store on my tablet, I had to back it up on my phone and email it myself and install the backup on my tablet. The tablet wont even boot up the app. It starts booting up then I get that error message. I am wondering if anyone else with the verizon galaxy tab has been able to get the app to work because if I can get it working I will pay the $5 monthly fee for the premium services.

Yeah, if all you want is the Red Zone channel, $5/mo isn't bad at all. I enjoyed it this weekend, actually got to see a good bit of the Vikings game.

Yep, I actually called directv and told them I had no interest in the full sunday ticket package, and I asked them if I could just get the redzone channel (I told them I had it on my phone) so they gave me the redzone channel for free.

So its nice if I am away from the house I can still check on the games.

Hmm, I might be calling them to try this myself. Although I did just call them for a $10/mo credit, so I might be out of luck...

Hey so I talked to a Verizon customer service rep on Sunday night and asked a question. I told the guy how once I used the mobile hot spot feature ($30/month) for just one day then disabled the feature, and I was charged accordingly (only $1 for one day's use).

I asked if I could do the same for the NFL app in terms of the video subscription and charged the same way I was with the hotspot (is prorated the term I'm looking for?)

I don't need to watch NFL network on my phone at all during the week. But sometimes I'm stuck at work on Sunday afternoons, and I really enjoyed watching redzone over this past free trial weekend.

So just a heads up if you are only using the app for redzone like 4 times a month and want to save a bit, just subscribe for those 4 days and only pay for those 4 days instead of being subscribed all month. I know its not much but every penny counts.

Cheers!

They *should* hook you up, how long have you been with them? I've been with them for 4 years (currently not locked into a contract).

They are giving me showtime/starz/encore for $1/mo I have $10 off for refering someone. And they gave me redzone.

Anybody else having this issue today ?

I got the same message numerous times but even with the message I still got the audio signal for the Browns Game (Yes, believe it or not they actually won).
