NFL

I have a daughter and two grand daughters in their senior year at different colleges. The classes continue though online. I'm a huge fan of college basketball. College football has never gathered my attention. I would do a bowl game or two but most always watched the championship. There are two bowl games for ever football team (or so it seems) so I have moved on from watching the many minor bowls. The Heisman recipient is playing tonight. I always like to have a look at what will definitely make the NFL.

unfortunately my go to college team to root for is UCLA. my dad went to school there so i have been rooting for them all my life. we have not had any good teams football and basketball wise for a very long time. i was never a bowl game fan to be honest with you. i do love March Madness though. but the pandemic has ruined college sports for me. maybe when it is all said and done, i will start to watch college sports again.

I live in a basketball community. Our local state college, WSU, had an unsuccessful football team up until 1970. One of the two planes carrying players, coaches, and vip supporters crashed killing all but a few in 70. The football program died along with those young men that day. So, basketball is THE sport in town basically. Nothing to shout about but the program has a loyal fan base and staunch supporters. If not for the WSU Shockers, I'd likely not be a basketball fan. They have kept me in the game. I love March Madness as well! Some mighty big basketball names are associated with UCLA!

I go by our Football stadium everyday watching them Demolish it, they claim they are putting up a new one where SDSU Aztecs will most likely play..... i believe the school bought the whole land that it sat on

I saw that the other day. It's sad that for years there was gridlock until the Chargers left and now all of a sudden there is movement. :( I don't think the Chargers are going to catch on in LA and will continue to be the ugly stepchild in that market. :(

i disagree with the way the Rams played today (they got whopped 32 to18 to greenbay) and if we can get a good head coach along with further development of Herbert, we can quickly rise to the top here in LA. it is a city chalk full of band waggoneers. if we can start winning i have no doubt we will finally get the respect they deserve.

should be a really fun game next week with the Bills and the Chiefs. hopefully Mahomes can pass concussion protocol to play. i think i'll be rooting for them this year. i like Mahomes.

also it would be good to see the Bills offensive coordinator, Brian Daboll. he is being considered the top candidate for the Chargers head coaching job.

Unless something crazy happens, looks like Brady will go visit Rodgers. I was kind of pulling for the Saints. I look for this to be Drew's last dance so I was hoping a deep run for him.

So I'm still a Brady fan, so I'm glad the Buc's won. That said, it's a bit sad watching Brees walk off the field for possibly the last time, he's always been a winner. This was a game for all NFL fans that love the game beyond being fans of their favorite team. It was cool watchin these two dinosaurs battled it out.

I have the utmost respect for both Brady and Brees. I am not a great fan of either man or team. Being a fan of the game however, I marvel at their skills as well as their lengthy careers. I hate to see either retire. I will miss their magic.
And in this day and age, it's refreshing to see players of their status that love and respect the game and live that role model life that's a positive influence on the youth.
