I had to share this with those of you that are in here all the time. You know I'm not shy and I tend to say what pops into my head. This is what I deal with on a daily basis (and a lot of the reason I need to find a job that I don't work with many people):
Me: We can ship that order on 7/5. Let me know if you need any sent overnight.
Customer: Please send 1 box of each item to arrive 6/30
[Hide] really?? I just told you that I can't ship it until 7/5 [/Hide]
Me: As I stated before, I can't ship it until 7/5.
Customer: But we really need them for the 30th. Please send to arrive before noon on the the 30th
[Hide] Did I not just tell you that I can't do that?? Twice??? Read the damn info you dumb idiot. Compute the info. Then respond with something intelligent. How dumb can you be?? [/Hide]
Me: I will happily set up your overnight to arrive on 7/6 before noon.
Customer: What would be the soonest I could have them?
[Hide] Alrighty, I see you are dumber than a rock. I'm done. Email filed. Order set up to ship on 7/5. [/Hide]
And that concludes today's version of 'How do you manage to get through a day without hurting yourself'.
