I guess all phones are different but I've seen a good increase in the battery life. Now, what changed? Not exactly sure but after flashing the 8/15 RC1, then 9/18 stable and the 10/28 RC1, I've feel those have been the most inconsistent builds. I would love to know how they determine those specific builds as the best and stable builds:confused:
 
thats kinda what im wondering...are the nightlies after the october stable release built off the stable or not? is it worth flashing nightlies anymore?

You know my feeling, I would say yes because I thought the RC1 build was not very good, imo. But it's personal preference, I would rather deal with some minor bugs every once in a while!
 
so everyone has switched over to AOSP?? seems like running new nightlies aren't the new thing anymore lol

Not here, CM6 is my every day rom. Just get flash happy sometimes when the nightly builds fail and I have nothing to flash, lol:D:D Flashing the sense/froyo 2.2.1 rom soon;)
 
Let me know when I am going to flash with you, LOL :D

I see now that alot of stuff isn't working yet on the Sense 2.2 ROM. I figured it was further along than that. Silly me! :o

To anyone looking to flash this: As MahaloCat correctly said. READ EVERYTHING before flashing.

asop must be hard to set up compared to cm6 obviously. andy u still using cm6 over asop right?

anyone kno the latest changes with the latest nightlies?
 
AOSP is a piece of cake IMO

aosp is pretty much the same setup as CM6. If you have TB, should only take about an hour setting up aosp

Right now I'm all over the place, lol:) There were some big merges going on with CM6 with some bugs for the last week, so I heard. So, just playing around right now. Will be flashing the newer nightly 132 build tonight, if it's built;)
 
I just flashed 132. I know 133 is out but I already had 132 onmy SD. anyway...132 is faaaast. stock kernel, my phone flies. I'm thinking about keeping this for a while. I've noticed pretty decent battery life too.
