Root No app data, web surfing still works!

This problem just started yesterday for my OV CM7 IHO 0522 build. If I connect to the network (3G or Wi-Fi), I can get access to the internet through the web browser, but I cannot get any downstream data for any apps. Gmail, Chat, Facebook, and etc do not see a data connection (I also can't sync anything). The icon for 3G/Wi-Fi is white instead of green.

I've tried:

• Clearing cache & restoring to a previous CM7 build
• Clearing cache & re-updating to the latest CM7 build
• reinstalling gapps (not sure if I have the latest build) - although im not sure what good this would do since all my apps cant get downstream data

Any advice would be appreciated!

I've been having the same issue for the last few days. I went as far as to unroot and go back to stock. After 3 rom switches and going stock I'm just about fed up lol.

Could have somthing to do with 4g towers being put up in your area.
