Help No Auto-Focus on camcorder?

Why doesnt the camcorder have auto focus the esteem had it.

are there any camcorder apps that can at least start the phone at a focus?

thats strange though my connect's camera works fine with auto focus strange i will search for an app and post back most of te apps that i tired were using the default camera app as the camcorder

once you are in the camcorder mode
press the menu key its left from the home
scroll down and change the settings

here's my settings:

white balance: auto
effect: none
scene mode: auto
iso: auto
exposure mode: center-weighted
exposure compensation: 0
anti banding: 60hz
focus mode: auto
contrast: 0
saturation: 0
video resolution:: 1280x720
video encoder: h.264
video file format: mpeg4
video bitrate: 5mbit
video framerate: 30
audio source: default
audio encoder: default

Guys, just a quick heads-up re. downloading paid apps for free from known warez sites:

1. You are asking for trouble in terms of possibly installing malware and opening yourself up to viruses and other security risks

2. You are depriving the app developers the opportunity to rightfully be compensated for their hard and valued work
