Root No booting, Hboot not updating PC36img

Ok heres the stats on bootloader:
Supersonic EVT3 Ship S-on
HBoot-6.17.0001
Microp-041f
Redio 2.15.00.0808
Mar 8 2011 17:02:15

Heres the issue the phone wont boot at all it just sits on spalsh screen forever.
I cant get into recovery.
The phone isnt recognizing the sd card except in h boot.

When i try to flash a PC36IMG.zip
It loads then it says its checking then just goes back to the hboot screen.
Never asks if i want to update.

Help will be appreciated

not really famiiar with unrooting as I have never done it. If hboot finds the PC36IMG.zip file and doesn't ask to update there or only a couple of things I can think of.

1. the file is not named correctly:
pc36img.zip is very different than PC36IMG.zip
make sure its all caps. and make sure you don't have PC36IMG.zip.zip

2. Hboot is damaged. If you were able to run the s-on tool from the phone this should not be the case as it is also a PC36IMG.zip

3. SDCARD is damaged. you could try a different card and see if that works.

4. A hardware problem preventing the phone from accessing the SDCARD.
