Root No Cyanogen Mod on Droid X?

I've seen on here were somebody said he had an experimental version ready, but just hasn't posted the link yet. That's very exciting news if it's true, I just wonder what the hold up would be. If you want to flash a ROM that is similar to it, download the UltimateDroid ROM. It isn't a complete ROM yet but is ultra fast with no blur in it. Like I said its not ready to be a full time ROM yet but it's really cool to play with.
I have been a long standing supporter of Cyanogen ROM's since early days of my G1 ... and now I have a Droid X as well and hoping that someone will finish porting CM over eventually. In the mean time, I have tried pretty much every ROM out there that does work on Droid X and as far as Stable, no FC, and really sweet custom features I have settled on Darkslide for now.
It has made the Droid X a really sweet phone again ... ha ha.

All current versions of CyanogenMod require a custom kernel, which the Droid X cannot have with the locked bootloader. Because of this, I don't think Cyanogen/anybody on the official CM team have any plans on porting it over. Any ports are user-submitted I believe and probably less reliable.

CVPCS is a member of Team Cyanogenmod and has a large portion of CM7 booted on the X. Also, kexec is starting to look like its finally paying off.
