Root No flash o.o?

HtcModz

Newbie
Ive been switching back and forth thru roms, and I have seem to lost my flash. For example, when I want to watch a video on the desktop version of youtube, it tells me to go download flash... so I download Adobe flash and it still doesnt load vids. Wiped Cache and Dalvik, didnt work. Any ideas?

I switched back and forth between Mik3d Kinged Kindom and MikG, I noticed that there was no flash on the MikG, then i went back to Mik3d and same issue.. looks like some of MikG stayed on the sdcard, the settings ect.... Do you think wipeing my data would do anything?

Yeah, The flash worked fien before i flashed a ROM. Even if wipeing my card doesnt work I have my nandroid of the stock right after i rooted.

kk if that does'nt work then go back to stock.

also you said you used the desktop version of youtube. did the mobile version work? or any other videos?

Yeah the mobile version works, and the app works.. but sometimes i like to use the desktop version if tells me i cant watch or mobile isnt supported... so yeah im gonna wipe data, and ill post results :)

K, so I wiped my "Data" and flash works fully now on Mik3D :) I think this happened because i didnt do a data wipe when i switched from Kinged Kindom to MikG then back to Mik3D so it saved some of the 'stuff' from Kingdom and carryed over to Mik3d... well problem solved, just wipe DATA.

yes ocn has a nice guide on how you should wipe before flashing new roms. check that out it might help further issues =]

always wipe and wipe well before flashing a rom. on the guide i said to wipe once but for me i wipe dalvik cache, cache and data 3x and then flash the superwipe 3x and flash my rom. it just takes a sec each time but i never had any issues doing that so why fix something that is not broken right?
