Root no image wrong image

i rooted my evo a while back but i had an update but it wouldnt let me update so i unrooted my phone now when i want to go into recovery it gives this red x or something and i have to turn off my phone and it says no image wrong image so i decided to dowload the PCIMG.ZIP frm the web and put it on my sd card it was checking the zip when it was looking for it a blue bar on the side filled put and said the version is older update failed idk what to do any help ._. ?

if you had s-off before there is a small chance that you might be able to run unrevoked and get rooted again. i would try that and if that does not work then you need to read this:http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...cant-root-your-gingerbread-2-3-3-evo-yet.html
