Help No Mobile Data

MattS106

Lurker
I can't get my Mobile Data to stay on. I can receive calls and texts, just not Internet and e-mail. Everything works when I am connected to Wi-Fi. I have an unrooted phone. I think something may have changed my APN setting but I can't find anything to tell me what my setting should actually look like.

Talked to Sprint and their solution was to do a Hard Reset. Don't really want to do that and lose everything. I would do a Full Backup (using Titanium Backup) but that requires the phone to be rooted. Have been thinking about rooting the phone anyway but evidently I can't do that now that I am on Gingerbread.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Thanks. Forgot to mention I did all of those and it didn't help.

Does anyone have their APN setting so I can see how it differs from mine?

Thanks

i'm not to familiar with apn's, but are they not only used in gsm phones? i did not think that cdma phones had apn's. i could be totally wrong though.

I am new to them as well. I just learned about it yesterday while trying to fix it. I downloaded two apps (APN Backup & Recovery and APN Manager). I used APN B&R to export my file to view. Not sure if the phone actually uses it or not though.
