Help "No mobile network" sound

vladg79

Lurker
Hello,

My Nexus makes a sound when losses the mobile network.
It's excellent that I know when no mobile network on the phone, but because the problems with connection to my cellular company it happens 3-4 every night!
How to remove that sound?

Thanks a lot!

I'm not aware of any stock setting on the device for this. Are you running lightflow? You can disable the notification there in lightflow > notifications > no signal

Hmmm, I've checked through all my settings and can't find a way to disable that notification. The only thing I have found is a way to disable all sounds during night hours. But, you wouldn't receive any notifications (phone calls, texts, etc).

I had a similar problem and found out it was a roaming notification. You can turn that one off in mobile network settings in 'wireless & networks' ('data roaming sound'). Does that solve it?

Do you have a carrier app? T-Mobile has one that includes some alerts based on various events. It may be something like that that is causing the notifications.
