I've been thinking of going to Straight talk with the Tmobile sim myself, but then I heard that they throttle after only 2gb.

I'm not sure what phone to get yet, but I'm thinking of going with Tmobile's $30 Monthly 4G plan. It doesn't include unlimited voice minutes, but I'm not on the phone very much anyways. It does include 5gb of 4g data before being throttled though! Either way I could use Groove Ip with Google Voice over data if I do need to talk. I'm more interested with the data, so it sounds pretty good to me!

yah like the first week i tested at almost 3000kb but i just tested now amd its only 300 kb my bill is the 22nd... and i know i havent used 2.6 gb yet.... i tested like the one day i wasnt on wifi and it was like 80-90 mb and all i ran was pandora or skype... idk wtf is up with boost

I've read horror stories about straight talk cutting peoples service off for no reason in the middle of a pay cycle. I'd steer clear if I were you. Find another company with higher than a 2G limit. Apparently according to straight talk we really would be beyond unlimited.

I have read some horror stories too. Something about too much mb in 1 day. Like say 1 day a month you're on a road trip and use Netflix, if you try to use over 100mb in a day or something you get throttled. I don't know how true that is.. but it's kind of what I gathered from my own research.

If T-mobile is good in your area I think it's the next best than Boost and am considering switching to that.

If you use your data for streaming.... videos, music etc or tether be aware Straight Talk has right on their tos that's it's a violation. Just an FYI.
I personally don't abuse my service with Straight Talk and I pay for my home internet service and don't try to cheat and use cellphone data as a full time replacement for home internet, so I've had no issues with Straight Talk.

it says on box first thing you see no contract unlimited data so they shouldn't call it unlimited data like you can use what ever you want. look up unlimited in dictionary. it means no limit. so this subject has been beat'n down enough i will stop there nuff said neway i have not teatherd at all since i have been throttled but they still felt the need to send me this text

and like i said. there gonna weed us all out. the ones who use a lot of data. as for home internet service. there some of us that due to the shit ass economy. that cant really afford Home internet. i payed for years of roadrunner but after losing my job of 10 years things are kinda tight. so good for all of you who can afford internet glade of it. just don't go kicking rocks at the ones who cant. like we are trying to get over or something. no in this day and time were just trying to get by. and as for boost i was on there service for years. and didnt even use data. but payed for it. so the way i see it. it all evens out. the cell phone company's tell what ever lies they want and that's cool but let me stream a few movies a month and I'm a outlaw...f m

Got an email about the speed reduction. A big impact on my part because my "full speed 3g internet" is at 250kbps at max now im at 30kbps lol
