Okay, I wiped data, cache, dalvik cache and flashed Velocity 1.1. Unfortunately, I didn't uninstall any of the apps I had moved to my SD card. I'm re-installing those apps but it won't let me move them to my SD card. I assume it's because they're still on my SD card. How do I remove/delete the apps from my SD card (from Velocity 1.0) so that I can move those same apps there (now in Velocity 1.1)?

They are stored in a folder called .androidsecure on the root of your sd card, you can delete them or wipe in recovery

Thanks King. I ended up restoring the Nandroid backup I had made prior to going to 1.1 and uninstalled the apps from there. Then restored the backup I made of 1.1 and it worked.

I still stand behind what I said. If anyone asked for help towards something that you made, I still believe you should put in an effort to help those that don't understand. When any type of programmer releases any type of software and something goes wrong, *it is expected* that the programmer releases that fix. Though, sometimes a fellow dev will release it to help the programmer... that's how it works. Being one in graphic programming, that's where I am coming from.

If you don't like my opinion, tough. I am entitled to it, and I'm just the one that's speaking up for the individuals who are afraid to speak up.

Five reasons your totally in the wrong on this:

First I would like to remind you of the disclaimer at the top of all posts for Velocity.
Second Trident did attempt to make a patch, found that wouldn't work, offered a solution by saying if you didn't wipe data originally, you had to wipe data and re-flash the ROM, and apologized for the inconvenience it caused. This was all on May third. and on the first page of this thread, yet you feel the need to point out two post taken out of context five days after a solution had been posted. Why?
Third I feel everyone involved with Velocity 1.0 and 1.1 have generally been very helpful to everyone seeking it. I can't speak for the developers, but this IS free and I bet the number of people asking for help with one thing or another and the amount of people donating something for their ROM arn't even close.
Fourth I would also point out that if you NEED instant support for every issue you might be better off going to stock 2.2.2. I'm not telling you if you don't like Velocity no one is making you use it, but saying you might be better off using stock and letting Verizon provide your support.
Fifth Velocity is pushing the Ally to the edge of what the hardware is capable of doing and your going to run into occasional problems with it. If your really a programer you should know this.

Back on topic...

I had the initial mms problem too (didn't wipe data on first flash).
Reflashing with data wipe seemed to fix it. (tested and it worked).
This morning, it didn't want to send a mms.
But after rebooting the phone, it worked fine.

Just my experience, so far.

The whole reason I even bothered to express my disappointment in Trident is because..................

If you have personal issues with anyone here it would best be handled in PM or IRC rather than in the public forum. Again the original issue this thread addressed has been answered and resolved by the Velocity team. I agree with D2all, this thread needs to be locked.
