Help No push email on Verizon?

I setup an old GNex for my wife last night (she hated iOS7 and wanted Android) and I noticed that the option for push vs pull for email (Gmail and Exchange) weren't available. I don't recall this from when I used the phone but maybe it was missing then as well. Is there something I'm missing or does Verizon not offer the option?

Never mind. For some reason I didn't see it last night but the setting is there today.
