Root No recovery yet?

So I see the sequent has root, I have not seen recovery. There is a cwm thread but from what it looks like its not fully working. So can backups be made and restored with the cwm yet? And with success?? LOL.... I'm looking to possibly buy the sequent but if there is root and nothing else I may wait it out and see what happens.
 
Actually this entirely really all things root section is confusing.

The thread that states cwm is working has no link to download it, the tut with root instructions says there is no recovery. But there is a thread with build.)prop tweaks for those with cwm.. hmmm.. so where is cwm for the sequent? Does it exsist?
 
yes there is cwm and root, check it out in sebastian's post. The only thing currently not working is the clearning of cache. Least I dont believe so. It says that it clears, but if i go to link2sd and check out storage information it shows cache 299mb out of 299mb full. So i dont know. backup and restore all works, mounting all works just the cache thing.
 
what should i do if i cant get into ftm... i only get a green android and a red led while i hold volume and power after gaining root i have no recovery at all and no ftm it seems
 
im sure you can access adb by booting normally, use adb from regular boot to flash stock recovery. and then you i believe will have to do the wipe data with the stock and then re-root, make sure your doing the root correctly guys, it isn't that hard of instructions. *not bashing on anyone*
