Ok guys so im a noob and have no idea whats going on with my phone i think the roms been erased its rooted and had the kindom revolution on it but when i go to recovery and flash from zip and choose zip from sd card there isnt anything there it says cant mount sd card and i dont know how to reinstall a rom on the phone any help would be great thanks guys

If you plug your handset into a computer can you verify that the ROM is on the microSD card? If it will not mount your microSD card, it could be corrupted and need formatting.

Just try to see if you can get it to show up on a computer. Report back with your results.

it wont come up it shows removable disk but i cant open it the only way to is to format it and wouldnt that erase everything on my phone?

Moving thread to the root section. Formatting it will erase everything on your microSD card, but will not erase your handset.

Do you happen to have a microSD card reader? You can try putting your microSD card into that and seeing if it can be read.

No i dont have a reader so once i format it i can download a new rom and move it to the sd card? sorry for all the stupid questions this is my first android phone

Yes, you should be able to. Hopefully the microSD card is not damaged.

If it is, you will have to buy a replacement microSD card. They are pretty cheap these days though.

so all i have to do is find a good rom and download it cut it to the removable disk and then go to recovery on my phone?

so basically you would copy your sd content to your computer then format your card(you can do that on your phone), transfer the content back to your card along with the rom .zip and then flash your rom.
