Yes, Motofail still works for the Droid 3.

Motofail still works - I used it last week. You need to unzip the file that you download and run the run.bat file from the folder/directory you unzipped into. Also, of course, you need to enable USB debugging in settings-applications-development.

Just start the phone as normal, connect to the pc, run the batch file.
