Root No slider on lockscreen!!!

I had used TB to move user apps to SD, I had noticed that this did something to my voicemail widget, so i went back in to restore that back to internal and then i did a reboot to see if it cleared it up.

just so you know tb uses the same function as apps2sd where only part of the app is moved to the card. the other part remains on your phone. that is why the voicemail widget did not work after you did it.

to really move apps to the card you would have to partition your card and either find a rom that has a2sd (which moves the whole app to the card) or flash dark tremors which is a script that utilizes a2sd and you enter commands in terminal emulator to move the apps to the card.

if you are interested in that then i would look into the http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...ooting-dummies-guide-gingerbread-edition.html and read about partitioning and moving apps to the card.

I've been pulling battery so it will shut down and i can get to recovery, i will try removing sd card also. I think my card is a piece, its been weird since i started playing around here.

well maybe this is a good time to get a new one. i have this one and it is awesome: http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all-things-root/413571-sharin-love-16gb-class-10-card-25-a.html

do you have a card reader? if you do you can try and reformat your card after you back it up on your computer.

go into recovery and use usb ms toggle to get acces to the card in amon ra (in clockwork mod it is found under mounts and storage and then mount usb storage).

I'm toggling to the backup on my PC right?

Never mind, i see.

Ok, i see my nandroid but, now how do i restore it?

in recovery select backup and restore and then select restore and find your nandroid backup. it is usually listed by date.

The only way I can see it when toggling is when I am hooked to laptop with cable, otherwise I'm not seeing anything except the recorvery screen telling me it is enabled.

Restore says it can't read/access card

ok so in recovery then i would backup the card on the computer. reformat the card and then paste the card back and see if that helps.

After the format should I just reboot first or go ahead and go for a nandroid restore?

Actually, thought i could format in recovery, nope. How can I format the card?

you can reformat you card on your computer.

and yes after it is reformatted you can then try the nandroid backup restore. no need to boot up.

How would i reformat, sorry to be a bother.

Never mind, I'm a little panicked and my brain isn't working fully. Will i need to re-partition?

yes you will need to reformat.

and for future reference. if your card is partitioned you do not have to have tb to move the apps to the card. it will automatically do that. unless you are on a rom that does not have a2sd. if that is the case then you will need to flash dark tremors.

Like I said, this learning curve is killing me.

Can i just copy/paste the nandroids i want back to the card or do i have to grab everything?

Nothing is working, I can see sd card from flash menu but, recovery saying it cant access. Should I try to reinstall the recovery?

If so, what should i wipe b4 flash if all i'm flashing is recovery?
